Transition of production reduces 61.2% CO2 emission
We have agreed with our supplier BPI of the disposable pads for Hip Fix and Flex Fix, to switch production from fossil-based chemistry to the so-called BMB (Biomass Balance) chemistry.
The CO2 emission (PCF = Product Carbon Footprint) per produced Hip Fix pad set is reduced by 61,2 % (Source: BPI data on file) since the fossil-based chemistry gives 0,86 kg CO2 per set and the Biomass Balance chemistry gives 0,33 kg CO2.
